Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! Mark, JB and I are at home with our families in Mobile. We drove down Tuesday night to see everyone. We had dinner with Mark's grandparents last night - after a Christmas Candlelight with our family. Today we are doing lunch with my parents, another lunch with Mark's mom and stepdad and then dinner with Mark's dad and stepmom. It's busy, but we're blessed that all of our immediate family all live in the same city. We've already opened gifts at my parent's house. And as always, they did way too much. :)

My mom, sister and I always go shopping the day after Christmas. I think Mark is going to be a sport and join in with us this year! We're planning to do the Eastern Shore Centre this year, as we did last year. It's got all of our favorite stores...Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Dillards, Ann Taylor Loft, etc.

We'll head back to Tuscaloosa on Sunday afternoon and then head back down to the coast on Wednesday. We're planning to go to my parent's river house for the New Years weekend. It's flooded over there right now with all the rain we're getting, but hopefully the waters will recede and we'll get to spend a relaxing weekend watching some football!

Speaking of football...we're getting very excited about Pasadena! We're flying out on Tuesday the 5th and we'll fly home on the following Friday. I've never been to California and it's been 5 years since Mark has been out there. Lots to see and do...including watching Alabama play Texas in the National Championship!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas with their family. We are all so very blessed!

So I started a blog!

Erin Baldwin & Haley Campbell have been telling me that I need to start a blog for a while now...so here it goes!

Life is good right now...busy, but good. Football season is starting to wrap up. All home football games are now over, which is sad! For the first time since we've lived in Tuscaloosa we've had company in town for all home games. We had a blast this year. Our regulars (Erin, Justin, Cory and Jennifer) will be missed! I get so used to seeing them every other weekend or so. This past weekend we had the biggest group of people in town...Erin, Justin, Matt, Angela, Lindsey, Dylan and Caroline. We had a lot of fun!!

We're heading to my grandmother's tomorrow afternoon for Thanksgiving. She lives about an hour and a half from Tuscaloosa, so we'll scoot over there for Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday and then head back here on Thursday night. Then we'll head down to Auburn for the Iron Bowl. We've never been in the stadium when we've won, so hopefully this will be a first down in the Plains for us!

Well, I better run! We're having dinner tonight at our friends' Wellon & Stephen's house! Can't wait!
